Cross-border transfers
Where personal information is processed outside Canada (Stripe, Better Stack, Let's Encrypt), we ensure comparable protection through written data processing agreements that include confidentiality, security, and breach notification obligations, as required by PIPEDA's accountability principle (Principle 4.1.3) and Quebec's Law 25 (s. 17). MapleDeploy has conducted privacy impact assessments for each cross-border transfer.
