Copyright claims
MapleDeploy operates under Canada's notice-and-notice regime as set out in the Copyright Act (ss. 41.25-41.27). When we receive a compliant notice of claimed copyright infringement, we forward it to the relevant account holder and retain records as required by law (currently six months). Content removal for copyright matters is carried out pursuant to a court order or our terms of service, not solely based on a third-party notice.
To submit a copyright notice, email abuse@mapledeploy.ca. Under section 41.25(2) of the Copyright Act, your notice must include:
- Your name and address
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location (URL or other identifier)
- Your interest or right with respect to the copyright
- The date and time of the alleged infringement
If you are a MapleDeploy customer who has received a forwarded copyright notice, you may wish to seek independent legal advice. MapleDeploy does not adjudicate copyright disputes between parties.
Note: MapleDeploy is a Canadian company. Copyright matters are handled under Canada's Copyright Act, not the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

- We investigate the report and assess the claims
